Professional Background

Jeff Moelich was appointed executive director, Audit Services in July 2012. Prior to joining U-M, he served as senior vice president, internal audit and corporate officer at Eaton Corporation, a Fortune 200 global power management company. He also held director of internal audit positions at General Motors, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte. He served as the Goodyear Executive Professor in the Kent State University College of Business Administration, a position designed to provide a connection between academic and business communities. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Detroit in 1982 and earned an MBA from U-M in 1984. He is a certified internal auditor (CIA) and certified public accountant (CPA).
